This 1980 Trans Am has been the subject of a couple of re-paints over the years but when the white paintwork was about to be changed to green it was discovered that the body was suffering from rot and was unsafe to drive. The car was completely stripped back to bare metal, the rust cut out and new metal grafted on, the bonnet and front wings were sourced in fibreglass to save weight and to prevent further rust issues. The engine, a 333ci small block chevy was rebuilt and tuned and the car was completely re-wired as well as being painted in a subtle shade of green!
